What is Himalaya * crystal salt?
Crystal salt mountains from the foothills of the Himalayas were formed by volcanic activity between India and Eurasia. The salt that had settled on the sea floor gradually rose and formed new rocks at a height of up to 3000 meters. These volcanic processes resulted in a unique pink mineral, the Himalayan Pink Salt.
Salt as a natural product is available in different colors such as pink, white, clear halite and different crystal shapes. It is also known as rock crystal salt and, according to geologists, the salt mountain range is almost 500 million years old, almost twice as old as European salt springs.
Where does the salt come from? The source
The salt is extracted from the salt mines in the Salt Range near Warcha Qaidabad, Punjab. The Salt Range lies between the Indus and Himalayas and stretches for almost 350 km from east to west of the Himalayas. For this reason, the salt is known as the Himalayan salt.
The salt is found in its purest form with 84 minerals and is free of chemical adhesives and contaminants.

* The so-called Himalayan crystal salt does not come directly from the Himalayas, but from a chain of hills in southern Punjab-Pakistan, about 250 km away - do not speak directly from the Himalayas. * We therefore expressly distance ourselves from these healing statements.
